1st post

I have served my country for 20+ years there have been ups and downs the cost has been great. Yet I wouldnt change it for anything. The men and women I served with were all volunteers, some have been great some have been shit bags that should have been aborted.

I have been deployed twice. I am very proud of those deployments and at what we accomplished.I have Ptsd yet  I would not change it for anything because I love this country more than any one knows.  I believe in this dream called America. No matter whos in the White House its not that person who makes this country what it is it is the people and their version of the American dream. When i see them doing what they want with out restrictions with out being held down because of race color or creed. It makes my heart sing anlove this  country even more. People have harsh word for my America yet they all want to be here. We are hard we talk about each other we protest the government. We blame the man in the White House (who ever they are) for the current problems. Yet we come together in a time of need or a time of hurt. We can protest with fear of govenrment intravention ,we can criticize our leader with out fear of retaliation and we can serve her and be free with out fear of of being punished. We are a dysfunctional family yet we are strong. I love this country for all her faults and I  love her people with all thier quirks, for there is no other place like her on earth. I will give my life for her because she is worth it.
